Ignite Network Ltd has been part of the Sunshine Coast hinterland since 2013 — a registered charity built on relationships, run by locals, and accountable to the community it serves.
Established in 2013, growing ever since
Ignite Network Ltd was established on 8 June 2013 and incorporated as an Australian public company limited by guarantee. On 6 September 2013 we were registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), and we have reported to the regulator every year since.
From the beginning, our conviction has been simple: communities are transformed person by person, relationship by relationship. What started as a small group of locals with a shared vision has grown into a network of volunteers and supporters serving the towns and villages of the Noosa hinterland.
More than a decade on, the need hasn't changed — and neither has our commitment. We remain a small, hands-on charity focused on genuine connection, practical care and strengthening the community we love.

Ignite Network Ltd is an Australian public company limited by guarantee and a registered charity with the ACNC. We are governed by a voluntary board of directors and comply with the ACNC Governance Standards, including annual reporting of our activities and finances.
Our charity is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office for income tax exemption, GST concessions and the FBT rebate. Every dollar we receive is directed to our charitable work in the community.

Ignite Network is a volunteer-powered organisation. Our board members, coordinators and helpers are people from our own community — teachers, tradies, retirees, parents and young adults who give their time because they believe in this place and its people.
